Crowning a private hilltop above Cabrera, Hacienda Tala is the kind of property that feels less like a villa and more like having an entire boutique resort to yourself.
Surrounded by tropical forest and looking out toward the mountains, ocean and golden evening horizon, the estate is completely private — gated, expansive and reserved exclusively for your group.
At the heart of the hacienda, an art-filled great room framed by floor-to-ceiling glass opens onto a sweeping L-shaped terrace. There is space for long breakfasts, leisurely afternoons and dinners together, with generous lounge seating, outdoor dining and a full-size bar that naturally becomes a gathering place as the sun goes down.
The estate offers eleven individually appointed en-suite bedrooms, all air-conditioned and positioned throughout the property for privacy. The primary suite includes its own living area, sun terrace and spa bath, while garden rooms open directly onto the surrounding greenery.
Five king suites are housed within the estate's newer wellness building, each with a walk-in closet, work area, private terrace, and a spa-style bathroom with a soaking tub and double vanity.
And behind the guest kitchen sits something particularly valuable for a Field & Villa holiday: a commercial-grade culinary kitchen, giving our private chef and culinary team a dedicated space to prepare the week's complete dining.
Outside, an infinity pool and hot tub overlook the lush landscape, with loungers, gardens and outdoor dining spaces spread throughout the grounds.

It’s an ideal setting for families and small groups looking for a private Caribbean escape without being far from everything the North Coast has to offer.
